Sure, McConnell and his gang said it’s a one-time, limited deal, but who’s to believe them now?  After all, McConnell recently said UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES would he assist socialist Democrats in securing their aims with conservative support.  He lied to us one and all!  Never mind the socialist left had a procedure already in place to do exactly what they wanted without this unnecessary surrender offered to them by Senate Minority Leader McConnell, and our own Senators Burr and Tillis.

Today its “merely” raising the United States debt level.  What will it be next?  Allowing a 51-50 vote of the Senate to impose unconstitutional red flag gun confiscation orders.  Allowing a 51-50 Senate vote to make illegal a transfer of firearms from spouse to spouse, father to son, or mother to daughter?  Will a future accommodation allow a 51-50 vote of the Senate to finally ban the California list of 205 modern sporting rifles and their accompanying standard capacity magazines and make felons in possession of millions of American citizens overnight?

And even worse than that, allow Senate Minority Leader McConnell and Senators Burr and Tillis to say “Well, after all, we didn’t vote for it.  The Democrats did it themselves?”

HELL NO!

I have one message for you today: Preserve the 60 vote Senate filibuster and deny the left’s anti-freedom, socialist agenda.

I did not donate, support, and vote for you just so you could help create a dangerous new precedent to allow a “Rule of the Mob” path for a 51-50 vote to potentially rewrite filibuster rules presently in effect.

I did not donate, support, and vote for you just so you could surrender to the anti-liberty left when they had a procedure already in place to do exactly what they wanted.
