HELP US DEMONSTRATE A STARK CONTRAST

For those of you who have already committed to Second Amendment Wednesday, this is just a reminder--and we're looking forward to seeing you there! If you haven't yet decided to meet with other GRNC volunteers this Wednesday at the General Assembly in Raleigh, this is another call to action. Find details below, and if you are going to be there (we could really use your help), please email

to confirm with us.

For those attending, remember we are meeting at 8:30 AM sharp, near the Printed Bills office. Printed Bills is on the left after entering the Legislative Building from Jones St. Please allot plenty of extra time for parking and clearing security, particularly due to the teacher demonstration that is taking place on Wednesday.

For even more details, see below (event background, suggested attire, parking, etc)...

Surprise, surprise! The unhinged left is planning protests, in Raleigh, on their most sacred of days, May Day (ahem)...

Why don't we take back May 1st for the liberty-loving people of the world? This year, we intend to, at least for the gun owners of North Carolina.GRNC has recently dubbed May 1st "Second Amendment Wednesday," we plan to petition our representatives on that day, and we hope you will join us.

GRNC volunteers will make it abundantly clear to our representatives that we will NOT stand for ‘Red Flag’ gun confiscation laws. We will also insist that the unnecessarily soft targets, known as public schools, be hardened against evil-doers by allowing teachers to carry defensive weapons, and finally be able to protect the children in their charge. But mainly...

Contrast the Left
Our plan for May 1st has been developing. With as many GRNC volunteers as are able (that's you), we will drop literature to our Republican representatives. Basically, we'll be reminding them gun owners are paying attention, engaged, and that we're in Raleigh on important business. Of course as usual, and in full contrast to theshrill leftists, we'll be well-dressed, mature, reasonable, and especially---effective. We will insist that our representatives move important gun bills prior to the crossover deadline. You'll have an opportunity to see your own elected reps, and you can be sure that he or she will find your presence to be a breath of fresh air over the opposing activists who will be stalking the halls and shouting from the lawn.

Find details below. Please pay close attention to the meeting time and place, preferred attire, and please read the "Tips." If you can attend, kindly email us to let us know you're coming. Use this email address: DirectorOfDevelopment@grnc.org.

If you've already responded to previous alerts on this topic, please note that a few details have changed, so please read the notes below.

Thank you -- we can't wait to see you there!
