TAKE A DAY - TAKE A STANND

The anti-gun crowd has been boasting about their attendance at the General Assembly this week. Therefore, on Second Amendment Wednesday (April 24), GRNC needs you at the Capital to counter their malevolent demands…

The usual suspects: ’Everytown for Gun Safety,’ ‘Moms Demand Action,’ ‘North Carolina against Gun Violence’ and who knows what other groups (sporting monikers born of irony and emotional-pandering) have descended on Raleigh in yet another attempt to hijack your civil rights. This cannot go unanswered.

While it’s true that the good guys (that’s you) have jobs that often keep them from petitioning and redressing their government, eventually there comes a time when good men and women must set daily chores aside and take a stand. That day is Wednesday, April 24thWednesday, May 1st

Take a Day & Take a Stand on:
Second Amendment Wednesday

WE NEED YOU TO SHOW UP. On Second Amendment Wednesday, we are going to make it abundantly clear to our representatives that we will NOT stand for ‘Red Flag’ gun confiscation laws. We will also insist that the unnecessarily soft targets, known as public schools, be hardened against evil-doers by allowing teachers to carry defensive weapons, and finally be able to protect the children in their charge.

Supporters of the Second Amendment cannot allow the voices demanding the end of private gun ownership to be the only voices their representatives hear. Through our Legislative Action Team, GRNC volunteers do a great job representing you to these same politicians. But freedom isn’t free, and ultimately it’s the responsibility of each citizen to get down in the mud now and then and fight for what he believes in—to fight for the good in life that he aims to keep. That time is now!

Below, you’ll find details about joining other GRNC volunteers to:
  • Meet the anti-gun crowd on the battlefield of redress.
  • Best the gun-grabbers in argument and influence.
  • Head home satisfied you’ve done something both important and fruitful (and, get a free GRNC shirt!*)

IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED!

  • SET WEDNESDAY, MAY 1st APRIL 24, ASIDE: This is ‘Second Amendment Wednesday.’

WE NEED YOU! GUN RIGHTS NEED YOU! Please take a day off work if you must. Please travel if you must.

Join GRNC regulars and other gun rights supporters to let the politicians in Raleigh know that you will NOT stand for unconstitutional ‘Red Flag’ laws. Tell them that you DO want to protect helpless school children by allowing teachers to carry concealed weapons. But mostly, just be there to remind them that you are still here, you are not going away, and you vote!
Now that you’ve resolved to join GRNC at the General Assembly, please email DirectorOfDevelopment@grnc.org to let us know you’re coming.

Did we mention: All GRNC supporters who join us on Second Amendment Wednesday will receive a free GRNC shirt*?
