Today, Grass Roots North Carolina (GRNC.org) and the Nevada Firearms Coalition (NVFAC.org) jointly announce successful coordination of restoration of Concealed Carry Reciprocity between Concealed Carry Handgun Permit holders from North Carolina and the State of Nevada. This will again permit North Carolina citizens that hold current North Carolina issued Concealed Carry Handgun (CCH) permits to carry concealed when visiting Nevada under their state firearm regulations.
The Nevada reciprocity list was updated and active as of July 1, 2022. It again recognizes concealed carry permits issued by sheriffs in states following the process used in North Carolina.
This restoration of visiting firearm owners' right to carry concealed for North Carolina permit holders concluded 18 months of coordinated effort between the state firearms rights organizations which enhanced contacts between state department of justice resources, law enforcement and legislators.
