When will they ever stop?

As the COVID19 crisis continues to affect the lives of North Carolinians, and America as a whole, those who have been elected into power are busy devising new ways to keep that power. We've seen it at a national level in Congress as they have tried to stuff the relief bill with far-left agendas such as The Green New Deal, emissions checks for airline companies, vote-by-mail expansion, and made up social justice redistribution of the relief package
Now, Governor Roy Cooper is trying to implement his own version of vote-by-mail and has the media in North Carolina waging the war of public opinion for him. In a recent editorial by the Charlotte Observer, the writer doesn't waste any time in trying to sway minds, using the title of the article to make anyone who disagrees sound like their skepticism is unfounded. "NC top Republican doesn't trust the governor to run a fair mail-in 2020 election. Really." she writes.
Yes, really. We don't trust this to be a fair and honest election if these voting policies are implemented. Vote-by-mail is ripe for fraud, abuse, and meddling. Ballot harvesting is a practice where volunteers canvas a designated area and collect ballots, then take them to be counted. There is little to no oversight while volunteers are collecting ballots, and the possibility for ballots to "go missing" is a very real one. We've seen it happen in districts around the country time and time again. Duplicate votes, votes by ineligible peoples, and many other things can and do take place when citizens are not required to go in and vote at a polling place.
The future of North Carolina, and the country, is at stake this November and North Carolina is a major battleground state. Whether it be fending off new, tyrannical gun control or impeding the implementation of far left policies like The Green New Deal, we must have fair and honest elections where the true will of American citizens is heard.
