REPEL THE COMING THREAT:
GRNC "Tactics for Activists" Seminar

Given the mixed results
in state-level North Carolina elections, combined with
increases in pro-gun majorities in Congress, GRNC
anticipates that Handgun Control, Inc., "Americans"
for Gun Safety, and other national organizations will
focus money and resources at passing state-level gun
bans. North Carolinians "Against Gun Violence" has
already said they want a ban on semi-automatic
firearms to replace the demise of the so-called
"assault weapon" ban. Moreover, recent domestic
homicides have given them ammunition to pass gun
control under their most recent stalking horse,
domestic violence.
In just a few weeks, the battle will begin in the
North Carolina General Assembly. Will you wait until
the invaders are at the gates, or will you now begin
preparing to defeat them? If you aren't content to let
gun ban forces pick the battlefield, ATTEND GRNC's
LEGISLATIVE TACTICS SEMINAR!

TACTICS FOR GUN RIGHTS ACTIVISTS
On Saturday, January 15, 2005, at 2:00 PM, GRNC will
hold a day-long seminar to show gun rights activists
how they can better defend their rights. This is not a
warm, fuzzy "how to write your Congressman" seminar,
but rather a school of the same sort of hard core
tactics GRNC has used to kill gun show and mandatory
gun storage legislation, to deny anti-gun
organizations the media spotlight in Charlotte and
Raleigh, to pass concealed handgun reciprocity and
handgun purchase legislation, and to elect pro-gun
legislators in the last five election cycles. If you
want to become more effective in defending your
rights, this is an event you should attend.
SEMINAR TOPICS
Legislative Tactics & Elections: A discussion of grass
roots mobilization versus access-based lobbying and
channeling constituent input to legislations; tactics
of bill advocacy and opposition; electioneering,
politicians and voter education, including:
The nature of politics and politicians

WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND
As always, you can sit around and whine about
infringements on your Second Amendment rights; you can
"preach to the choir" about how things ought to be; or
you can DO SOMETHING to preserve the Bill of Rights
for yourself and future generations. The choice is
yours. If you choose to do something, why not learn
from hard core activists who have been kicking the
butts of highly paid lobbyists and anti-gun
politicians for ten years?
