With Democrats in tighter control of both the NC House and Senate, you can expect a circus the likes of which you’ve probably never seen. Like a midway barker, Lisa Price, director of North Carolinians “Against Gun Violence” and wife of Congressman David Price (D-4, GRNC 0-star), has the media screaming for more gun control by showcasing gun deaths among “children” who include gang members and drug dealers up to age 24.

The star attraction, Marc Basnight (D-Dare, *), has already been re-elected as President Pro Tem of the Senate. Described by The Charlotte Observer as “the king of all he surveys,” Basnight has repeatedly blocked pro-gun legislation. As I write this, the likely Speaker of the NC House is Orange County leftist Joe Hackney (D-Orange, 0-star).
